BEND & CENTRAL OREGON REAL ESTATE BROKER
Meet Shelise Murray
Thoughtful strategy. Clear communication.
A dedicated advocate for your next move.
Whether you’re buying your first home, preparing to sell, or making a move to Central Oregon, the decisions reach beyond the property itself. You deserve a clear plan and someone who understands what matters to you.
I’m Shelise Murray, an Oregon-licensed real estate broker with Works Real Estate in Bend. My background in the mortgage industry, property management, residential sales, and real estate coaching gives me a broad perspective. My own experience as a relocating parent and first-time homeowner keeps that perspective personal.
Your goals shape the plan
We’ll start by identifying your must-haves, your timing, and the tradeoffs you’re comfortable making. Those priorities guide the decisions ahead, from preparation and pricing to offers and negotiations.
Buying a home
Finding the right home means looking beyond the photos. I help you compare properties and neighborhoods, evaluate pricing, and understand what each option offers before you make an offer.
When you’re ready, we’ll develop an offer strategy that reflects your goals and the market. As the transaction moves forward, I’ll help you navigate inspections, negotiate terms, and coordinate with your lender and escrow team so you understand what’s happening and what comes next.
Selling your home
A successful sale starts well before your home goes on the market. I help you decide what to prepare, where to focus your effort, and how to position your property with thoughtful pricing and presentation.
With the marketing resources of Works Real Estate supporting our plan, we’ll showcase what makes your home compelling. As offers arrive, I’ll help you compare price, terms, timing, and contingencies, then advocate for your priorities through negotiations and closing.
Buying and selling together
When your next purchase depends on your current sale, the timing matters. I help you consider the sequence, understand the moving pieces, and coordinate both transactions around a practical plan.
My story
Real estate was personal before it became my profession

Before I built a career helping people buy and sell homes, I was a young mother raising three boys and working toward homeownership myself. I wanted to understand how a home could create stability for my family and possibilities for our future.
About three years at Wells Fargo gave me firsthand insight into the mortgage and lending side of homeownership. What surprised me was how manageable buying a home could become when people had the right information and knowledgeable guidance.
I later worked for Golden West Management in San Diego, a property management company overseeing more than 250 properties with a strong luxury focus. Working around owners and investors, I saw how thoughtful property decisions could shape a family's financial future. For many, it had started with buying a first home.
I first became licensed in real estate in 2014. In 2016, I moved my family to Central Oregon for the mountains, outdoor adventure, community, and room for my boys to grow. Choosing this place remains one of the best decisions I've made.
I earned my Oregon real estate license in 2017 and bought my first home in Bend in 2018. Even with professional experience, it felt different when the decisions involved my own home, my family, and my future.
That perspective stays with me. I believe building wealth through real estate can begin with one thoughtful decision. The right choice depends on your finances, your timing, and the life you want to build.

Leadership & growth
Curiosity became a career advantage

I want to understand how things work and how to make them better. That drive led me to serve for five years on Keller Williams' Agent Leadership Council and later build and lead a real estate team of my own.
Today, alongside serving my clients, I coach fellow real estate professionals through Works Real Estate. We work on business development, systems, follow-up, client experience, accountability, and confidence.
Teaching makes me more deliberate in my own practice. Every conversation about strategy, communication, and follow-through is another opportunity to refine the experience I deliver to my buyers and sellers.
What all of that experience taught me
Strong real estate decisions become easier when you have the right information, a clear strategy, and someone you trust helping you understand the bigger picture. My background helps me see the questions behind the transaction, from how a property fits your plans to what a move will mean for your day-to-day life.

A local perspective, a personal understanding
Relocating to Bend or Central Oregon?
I know what it feels like to choose a new place for your family. When I moved here in 2016, I was thinking about the life we would build as much as the home we would live in.
I'll help you connect your priorities to the practical details: housing options, budget, commute, access to the activities you enjoy, and the timing of your move. Together, we'll identify what to research, what to see in person, and which tradeoffs matter to you.

Do you help clients buy and sell at the same time?
Yes. I help you consider the sequence, timing, and moving pieces of both transactions, then coordinate a plan around your goals and circumstances.
Can you help if I'm moving to Central Oregon from out of the area?
Yes. I help relocating buyers clarify their priorities, compare housing options, and plan their search and move. My own relocation to Central Oregon gives me a personal understanding of the questions that come with choosing a new community.
How does your coaching work benefit your real estate clients?
Coaching keeps me focused on the systems, communication, preparation, and follow-through that shape a strong client experience. I continually apply those lessons to my own work with buyers and sellers.
